The annual Connemara Bog Week will be returning to Co. Galway on the 22nd of May, the festival is celebrating its 25th year so this year’s event is set to be the biggest one so far. Lasting for 10 days there will be a flavour to suit everyone, from fun-runs to cycle races (including a 100Km event on May 24th), cuisine to music and dance. Local hotels are already gearing up to receive the many tourists which flock to the festival every year, extra buses and trains will be rolled out for the 10 day event, but for those of you who wish to travel in comfort, car hire is second to none, but make sure you book any transport needs in advance because competition for available transport during the Connemara Bog Festival will be rife.
