Calling all cyclists, the Cycling Tour of Ireland is to be run during the month of August 2010. The event will see participants compete across the East, South and Southwest of Ireland as each cyclist attempts to win the coveted prize.

An estimated 126 of the top-form cyclists from the US and Europe will be competing at this month-long event. Starting off in the wonderful setting of Kilkenny Castle, competitors will travel hundreds of miles during this test of strength, stamina and endurance. Avid cycling fans may wish to follow the competitors along the beautiful country side from the comfort of an Irish hire car to get a real feel for this challenging, one-off, event.
