Could a replica of Cornwall’s Eden Project boost the West’s economy?

There’s no better place to create the new nirvana and many lessons can be drawn from the Cornwall project, as the economic landscape is very similar: Cornwall has the lowest per-capita income in the UK, lowest population density and far away from any major cities; noted for its wilderness, beautiful costline and archaelogical wonder.

Yet, Cornwall has overcome its problems to become the No.1 tourist hotspot in the UK, which is largely due to the Eden project, with tourism growing more in the 12 month period folllowing the opening of the Eden Project than it had in the previous 2 decades!

The West’s economy is set to face tough times in coming years, but a project such as this will bring huge benefits to the economy, with the creation of new jobs, hotel consturctions, Irish car hire companies, restaurants and more.
