John O'Donoghue of Ceann Comhairle has revealed the details of his expenses claimed during a period of two years, including that spent on car rentals in Ireland as well as abroad. 
A massive €45,000 was spent on travel, €13,000 of which pertained to car hire, including limousines, and a further €5,000 on VIP lounges- surely figures set to stir the wrath of the Irish tax payer.
Earlier in the year, October, Mr O'Donoghue has expressed a desire to disclose his expenses from the past 24 months in order to promote transparency in the financial affairs of Ceann Comhairle. Now time for the backlash...
