For those of you who love Ireland for its picturesque landscapes, then the Southeast Garden Show is definitely for you.

The Southeast Garden Festival opens to the public on the 5th of June 2009, and will run until the 14th of June. The festival is showing a collection of privately owned gardens, and unlike other times of year, can be seen without pre-arranged appointments.

The types of garden available to view range from the old fashioned country-cottage style garden, to the brightly coloured, innovative gardens of the modern day.

Some of the gardens will be quite difficult to find, so don’t forget to add the sat-nav option to your car rental package, or risk arriving after closing time (5pm throughout the event).
