The National Ploughing Championships 2009 takes place between September 22nd and 24th in Cardenton Co. Kildare. Ok, so this might not be to everybody’s taste, but for anyone with even a passing interest in agriculture will have a magnificent time here.

The All-Ireland National Ploughing Championships is Europe’s leading agricultural gathering and many people will descend upon Cardenton for this spectacular event. Make sure that you are able to get there on time and book your car rental before you leave home.

There will be many attractions to keep everyone entertained including: Bio energy village, mechanical demonstrations, motor zones, food, craft village, forestry village, educational stands and live entertainment on the bandstand throughout the event.
