If you love events like the Red Bull Challenge, or the World Rally Championships, then you will love the North West 200 Spectacular, with its death-defying shows performed by motorcyclists from around the world.

The event is to be hosted in County Antrim in May 2010 and consist of gravity-defying stunts and tricks performed on a pre-established course which runs through towns and villages. The circuit the bikes race is well known to the motorbike world and is considered to be one of the most dangerous courses in the world.

If the thought of careering through country lanes on a motorbike at speeds approaching the sound barrier scares you, then fear not, you can always hire an Irish rental car and drive the courses from a safe distance behind- although not during race times, obviously.
