After receiving excellent reviews for 2008, the Wexford Festival Opera will be returning this autumn for two weeks. From the 15th of October to the 1st of November, this will be the 58th festival to be held. With many different operatic shows being performed, including Maria Padilla, written in the early 19th century, and The Ghosts of Versailles, written in the early 19th century, anyone vaguely interested in opera will have a wonderful time.
As well as the main operas on show, a series of concerts, choral recitals and short works will also be performed at the 2009 Wexford Festival Opera. In between shows, why not explore the many wonderful features of this corner of the globe, car rentals are available prior to any trip and should be reserved before leaving to ensure availability.
