Behind the wheel, visitors enjoy full access to the interior as well. Bogs, marshes and mountains dominate the landscape. Twelve Bens mountain range is particularly scenic, and it’s a great place to stop for morning hikes. Autumn is a fine season to head outdoors here, when the leaves are in transition. In the spring wildflowers blossoms and decorate countryside. Regardless of when you visit, be sure to bring your camera.
