There are two ways you can get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 or vice versa. Both options involve walking between the two with one indoor and one outdoor.

The indoor walkway is located between the arrivals floor in Terminal 2 to the Departures Floor on Terminal 1. Maps of both terminals at Dublin Airport can be found here. Upon exiting the baggage reclaim in Terminal 2 turn left and follow the signs for Terminal 1 and the pre booked car hire companies such as Thrifty Car Rental. If you are arriving at Terminal 1 and need to go to Terminal 2 then as you exit the baggage reclaim turn right and ascend the escalator. The walkway entrance is located opposite check in area 1.

To take the outdoor routes simply follow the foot paths and signs for terminal 2. It is a short 2 minute walk between both terminals.
